FTG Writes: “Arcane” Is an Appropriate Word
In this modern age of gaming, there is often a sentiment of getting back to basics. Many indie games rally this cry with simple control setups and basic gameplay concepts. That’s not a dig on indie games by any means; that’s simply their goal. Unfortunately, getting back to basics can severely harm other games. In the case of ArcaniA: The Complete Tale, I felt like I had fallen back into the early days of the PS2. And it wasn’t nostalgic: it was broken.
