GameVortex - Your new town for The Sims 3: Island Paradise is Isla Paradiso. It’s actually a town that covers several different tiny islands, most of which are not connected by bridges. This means your Sims will take boat taxis or their own boats to island hop. I love this new town. I’ve very large, at least as big as Dragon Valley, with a lot of landscaping. If you’ve ever been to Hawaii, I really think that’s what these islands were based on. The terrain simply isn’t even on an island and they’ve done a perfect job copying this. Of course, that means that you aren’t going to be able to build houses as easily as you used to, but they have also added stilted foundations to help you deal with this bumpy terrain and to make it possible to build your house directly on the water.
Carl Williams writes, "Games on sale are a great way to grab good games at a great sale price and possibly try some new ones that might have otherwise passed by. Titanfall is on sale this week (20% off) and as usual, there are more than a few Battlefield, Sims, etc titles on sale this weekend so get to reading and grab the ones that interest you. These sales won’t last."
I would have bought Sims if it was the console version. My girlfriend has been asking for me to get her one.
Triverse writes, "Electronic Arts is having a weekend sale on Sims titles, including opening pre-orders for Sims 4. There are some great deals listed below, some titles/expansions are up to 50% off. Next week we are expecting the sale to focus on racing games but till then, why not grab some Sims 3 titles that you may be missing from your collection?"
Worth Playing - From owning and managing a resort, to living a life on a houseboat and even deep sea diving, The Sims 3 Island Paradise opens up a world of possibilities never seen in the franchise.
