I really wish the space genre would get a revival.

How I would love next gen versions of the Privateer series or Wing Commander series.

In fact Privateer online - Ps4 vs X1 vs PC cross platform would be totally insane.
On Wing Commander each platform could be a different race - Humans, Kilrathi and those bug things (i cant remember their name)

I certainly am! This looks really good. Didnt know they had raised that much though, certainly shows the support for this long forgotten genre

I figured you were. Didn't mean to insult your intelligence, if I did. :) I can't freaking wait for that game! You are right though, it has been way too long for a space sim genre game (other than X3) to return. Along with Privateer and Wing Commander, I could go for a new Tie Fighter style game too!
