Nintendo Life: Mario Bros. Review

Nintendo Life: If you've ever been curious about Mario and Luigi's actual credibility as plumbers, you'll want to look all the way back to 1983's Mario Bros., the game which established pipe-cleaning as their true vocation and served as something of a bridge between arcade sensation Donkey Kong and early platforming masterpiece Super Mario Bros.

i dont think the author of this piece did his homework. this year isnt the debut of Luigi as the main protagonist.

OT- this game did suck. i had it for my atari back in the 80s. bet not many people knew that Mario was on another platform that isnt nintendo.

Most of us know. But that isn't the version he reviewed.

doesnt matter the system, the game is still the same. the point to my original post is that 2013 isnt the year that luigi made his debut in a staring role.

If you like both, just buy both. Problem solved..

Profchaos310d ago

Yes most people will just buy both it's not 1992 anymore.
Retro fans will buy both, families will probably end up with both eventually fans of specifically those two out of nostalgia have careers and enough income to buy both

I don't see a problem

ken2813310d ago

Asplundh310d ago

Hardly competing. It's releasing on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One, Wonder isn't.

cammers1995309d ago

Yet wonder will outsell any sonic even if sonic is multi platform

Asplundh309d ago (Edited 309d ago )

Absolutely, but it certainly won't be because the 2 games released around the same time. Mario is more popular and typically the games are better.
