"7 years flew by for the Playstation fan without realising it, 8 years passed by for the XBox 360 pros. And with this E3, we are ready to part ways with two of our most beloved consoles. Emotionally struck and halfway optimist about what the Nex Gen has to offer, at iLLGaming we thought of coming up with a string of weekly posts that celebrates some of the most wonderful games to have braced the two consoles. The grandest moments, the little joys in each, and more importantly how the title gave a KO to the titles of the rival console. Hop on, we are taking you in a journey to Uncharted fun with the first title in Killer Games On PS3:
Before I begin, I have to say, to be honest I wasn’t a born Uncharted fan, I didn’t like the over the top action in the first place. But friends can be so persistent, they make you sit down and guide you through their gameplay. One such friend gave me the real taste of the game of this era. Here’s dedicating to him and hoping for his speedy recovery"
November 19 marks 15 years since the release of the Uncharted game that started it all.
I hope they don’t make another until the end of the ps5 lifecycle…. Show us a better jungle
VGChartz's Issa Maki: "I finally have a proper designation akin to what I've always referred to internally as 'the line that must be crossed' or 'The Line', for short – ludonarrative dissonance – the separation from a video game's story in relation to its gameplay. Why isn't PETA all up in Mario's grill for jumping on turtles and killing fish, or charging Samus Aran with the extinction of the Metroid species? Ever notice how fire has that habit of making bosses in Resident Evil stronger? Read on my friend, for I endeavor to imbue you with the ability to engage in basic queries concerning the concept."
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has a lot to live up to as Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an incredible and near-perfect game.
I cant even say what the point was its easily the worst story in the series. The online was a whole lot of fun though but overall doesn't come even close to 2
Villains were all over the place in this… one second they wanted Drake dead, the next they needed him, then they want him dead again, then they coulda killed him, but poisoned his friend instead, then coulda shot him again, but had brunch with him, then needed him alive, then coulda mowed him down, but decided to kill him by fire and let him escape… Uncharted 2 was way better. 😅😅
This was actually my least favorite in the series. Didn't have that same impact that part 2 set.
Uncharted 2 is the pinnacle of the series (to me).
Granted, 4 had the best story in my opinion, but 2 was the overall best game.
I am a fan of Sony and Naughty Dog, and I am a PS3 owner. I'd rather see Xbox 360 owners get to play and discuss these games than brag about exclusivity. The way I see it, there would be more people to exchange thoughts and feelings on The Last Of Us and share which action sequence was your favourite in the Uncharted series.
Got Uncharted 1 a few months ago, and yesterday I beat Uncharted 3. When I started out, I was thinking the series was overrated, but now that I've finished all three, its sad to see it end. Amazing trilogy.
Playing the uncharted games multiple times each year never gets old for me. I hope Uncharted 4 is the next uncharted game rather than a vita sequel(not because the vita game isnt good, its great) because it would take a way from uncharted on the ps4 in a way imo.
