"Project Offset" Shows Promise

"Project Offset" is the code name for a new game being developed with a new engine (the aptly named Offset Engine) and technology. Developed by Offset Software, the game looks to be a first person shooter set in a fantasy world and features movie quality graphics and cutscenes.

Currently planned for the PC and Xbox 360 (and I hope the PS3), Project Offset first hit the web with some fancy tech demos to show off the new engine and technology. While it was well received by gamers at the time, it has since gone dark, only releasing one gameplay teaser (and even that was an accident).
