AMD HD 8000 Series codenamed ‘Hawaii’ in leaked Catalyst Drivers
ChipLoco: AMD is patiently watching NVIDIA taking the top graphics card crown at the moment. A lot of people are saying that AMD is going to storm the market with its ‘Volcanic Islands’ HD 8000 series graphics card, but to our surprise we didn’t find any authentic evidence of them in the making. Today, everything changes since many AMD products including Kaveri APUs and Volcanic Islands (HD 8000) GPUs are found in the leaked Catalyst Drivers’ INF file under the codename ‘Hawaii’.
