Game Informer - One of the most beautiful stories I've experienced is Raquel Applegate's from the 2006 role-playing game Wild Arms 4. The PlayStation 2 title lets Raquel shine as a strong character; not only is she your most powerful party member, but she is also by the far the most mature of the cast. Raquel is standoffish and mysterious when you first meet her, but soon you uncover why she won't let anybody in.
Wild Arms 4 is the quintessential coming-of-age road trip JRPG.
(Editor’s note: In the Postcard Review, members of the Pixelitis staff write small, easily digestible reviews big enough to ‘fit on a postcard’ – hence the title. It can be about the whole experience or just a small piece of the pie. No scores needed.)
Media Vision’s Wild Arms series returns in Wild Arms 4 for the PlayStation 2. This time the familiar western setting has been infused with a more modern feel. Also of note is the new HEX battle system among other additions. Will gamers enjoy this new take on the world of Filgaia? Let’s find out!
