Author Joshua Moris of Capsule Computers writes:
"If I had to describe the gameplay for Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes in only a few words, I would say the game is a “hellaciously addictive, fantasy, Civilization mash-up.” Even without fully grasping the world’s lore, players can snatch up this title and pour endless hours into a single campaign. An aspect that invokes hours of endless play is the game’s theme as a fantasy driven Civilization. Instead of building realistic armies like Civilization 5, players can attune their characters to the mysterious weaves of magic and battle great monstrosities of legend."
Joseph Pugh of Gideon's Gaming writes- Steam sales can be overwhelming due to the sheer amount of choices available, some games can also easily fly under the radar just because so many of them are on sale. Let me help you narrow it down some, and maybe find something you either weren’t aware of or didn’t realize was on sale!
Gamer Professionals explores Fallen Enchantress: Ultimate Edition. Bringing to the table higher stakes and more freedom, is the title worthy of 4X Games and their legacy? Does it stand up to Civilization?
Fallen Enchantress: Ultimate Edition includes Fallen Enchantress, Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes, and all of the DLC for both games.
Stardock's always been kinda hit or miss. I like the genres they're mashing up though, and it sounds like they've done a smashing job of it, so I'm going to give this one a look!
