The Gamers' Temple: "The game is a fun mash-up of genres - genres more typically found on mobile devices than on consoles - and a pretty unique entry in the XBLA game library. Even the most hard-fought battles can be finished within five minutes, so it's a great game for those times when you only have a few moments available for gaming. On the other hand, you can certainly lose hours playing 'just one more level' with the game. So unless Angry Birds makes you really angry, go out and have some fun storming a few castles."
Now available on Nintendo Switch, CastleStorm is a light-hearted take on the tower defence genre, and it’s fantastic.
I almost want to get this. I've played Castlestorm before on the Vita, and it was pretty good.
Zen Studios’ Castlestorm makes its way to Switch, polishing gameplay from a number of other games and bringing in its own humorous writing to tie everything together.
From Nintendo Everything: "CastleStorm is coming to Switch, Zen Studios has announced. The mashup of 2D physics destruction and tower defense brawler hits the eShop on August 16. Here’s some additional information about the game and a trailer: Raze castles and conquer your rivals in CastleStorm on Switch."
