Square Enix just announced new details on the livestreams that will be broadcasted as part of its E3 event Square Enix Presents related to Final Fantasy XIV: A realm Reborn, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster

The reality is, no one wants to ask questions about Lightning Returns or X HD. SquareEnix knows that all (the majority, if they're still interested in it) FF fans want to know about is Versus XIII, (or FF XV, if the title change is official) this Q&A only alienates those fans.

Few vague promises? What are you on about? We've had interviews confirming the features already implemented from up to two years ago, cars, airships, chocobo's, world map, summon hunting, vehicles etc etc. We have been told loads, we were even told how their powers work and story elements. We have plenty of information, we just haven't been told more since then. For whatever reason.

From what we've seen in the trailers, they haven't been lying, Nomura told us in an interview in 2010 that he was flying around the world in an Airship the other day and it feels nostalgic. Do you simply think he was lying about all of this? There is nothing vague about any of the info we have been given. We were given direct statements on what is in so far.(so far back as Jan 2011, that's 2 and a half years of more time to do more). It's also been stated Noctis city is the largest explorable city in an FF ever made.

Edit- No domination, he said they changed it to 3-d perspective for the sake of next/this gen and not a big top down view like the old ones. He also said the Clouds where now particle effects or some **** like that and they respond in real time when you fly through them, swirling around the engines and stuff

No, some fans will. The hard-hardcore who think Square can do no wrong. Doesn't matter that such fans are now in the "minority" because they represent a chance to bring over new fans. Fans who will be into the mythos of the series, rather then ones who might expect some actual effort and creativity.

That's it: I'm officially done with them. Could not care less about vs13 at this point.

The "minority" in this case is the technical majority who stayed loyal to the franchise. I no longer believe that Square has no creative capacity. Whether I'm of a minority of minority is besides the point.

Actually, the terms themselves are wholly subjective. Its more about the fewer who bought FF13-2 over FF13. Whether or not FF13-3 will sell better or worse and what Square does next based on those numbers.

- Why is it you want to keep forcing Lightning down on throats when you know FF13 failed

- Why is it you keep pushing FF13 by doing FF13-2 and now Lightning returns which is basically FF13-3.

It's kind of funny how strict the parameters on the questions are. But whatever, it's just a bit of fun. People take the whole Versus / KH3 thing so damn seriously. This is ENTERTAINMENT people, it's a luxury. How can you act so entitled? Sure our dollars and euros etc. helped them out, but only insofar as we paid for individual games. It's not like we're big investors or something. The fans support the companies proportionately by paying for the games when they're available, that's the extent of our contribution. We get what we paid for (most of the time). If you don't like the look of it, don't buy it, nothing lost, money saved. If you don't like where they're heading, just forget it, move on with your life. Maybe someday they'll change their trajectory. You can't just sit there in front of your PC demanding SE make you games, that's just ludicrous.

Entertainment is not a need, food is, clothes are, a roof over your head is. Stop taking commodities and luxuries so seriously. The only time you can take such a thing seriously is if it threatens to inject toxic ideas into a culture- because such a scenario bears heavily on our future as a society. This clearly isn't a concern with SE's games (more or less), so just quit it.

If we all just had what we wanted made for us all the time, everything would just stagnate. The majority of fans not involved in game development are conservative by nature, they're not comfortable with change. Think CoD, think the clamour for classic Final Fantasy games. Just be open minded, yet critical when it actually calls for it ^^^.

If there was never change in the FF series we would have never had any of the good FFs like7, 8, and 9. We would still be looking at 8 bit figures and exploration that feels like Pokémon.

That being said, the 13 series was a change in the wrong direction. I literally had to force myself to finish 13. 13 -2 was better and was actually fun at some points but it still wasn't the FF experience I was looking for.

I'll buy LR for the hell of it and see if the changes they made are better. From what I see, the combat is something like TOV. And the exploration and customization seems interesting. I'll see how it turns out.

FF13-2 is £5 new, it's not even old. That says a lot about what's happening to the series, please don't expect much from Lightning Returns SE, focus on good things.

The only reason why Square is doing Lightning Returns is because from a point of sales and reviews, the 13 series did well. They wouldn't do it if they didn't see money in it. Square is just as money hungry as any other company. They'll milk a series until it's last drop.

So many people have asked about Verse XIII here's my question lol that i left on the facebook page lol doubt they will answer it though lol.

Final Fantasy XIII was a game with a Mythology that was created for 3 other Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Type 0 and Final Fantasy Verse XIII. From that 2 games have been released. 1 world wide another only in Japan (Again prof that shows that you do not listen to your fans since they have been asking for FF Type 0 to come out in USA and the UK and you still haven't.) And one that you have taken why to long with the production because you believed that Final Fantasy 13, 13-2 and LR were more important. How did you come to this conclusion?
And does Final Fantasy Lightning Return some tire into Final Fantasy Verse XIII? And is that the reason why you called it FF Verse XIII?

The sales show that this game clearly was not the most popular Final Fantasy game. Did you ever ask your fan base what Final Fantasy they wanted to see released when it comes to Final Fantasy 13-2 and Final Fantasy Lightning Return out of Final Fantasy Verse 13?
