The Gears models are identical to the 360/PC models. Master Chief looks good and Spawn is amazing.

The Locusts are decent too. I'm about to take them for a test run online.

They weren't made specifically by PS3 users but by people who own Unreal Tournament 3 on the PC. The UT3 tool allows us to cook maps, mods and skins to make them playable on the PS3 version.

Someone simply took pre-existing skins and made them function on the PS3. The Epic forums are bustling with requests for PS3 characters, eventually someone will model those characters.

I find is the most impressive, but then again it could have been ripped straight out of the PC version of the game and thrown into UT3. So it's most likely it's straight from Epic.

Spawn is very well detailed and the Master Chief is simply armor but the person who did it, did a good job.

I may be wrong but I think that Master Chief is from Halo 3, which is not on PC yet so the character could not have been simply ripped. The guy that made these did rip some Spartans from Halo 2 PC, but I think this one was made from scratch (if it is indeed the model from Halo 3)

Guess thats the beauty of mods the sky's the limits. Only thing i worry about with mods coming into console gaming is that this will open the door for online cheaters like the Pc scene.

Its amazing how easy it is to find mods, skins for the ps3 UT3. I only found a few skins for PC UT3 so far. Spawn was there for pc but no MC or Crysis or Marcus :(

I posted this in the gamer zone because someone else was having problems. Just put the USERDATA.JAM file directly onto the USB key or whatever without any of the subfolders (PS3>SAVEDATA>etc). This is one of the changes with the 1.10 UT3 PS3 update.
