Weekly Digital Roundup: “y cant metroid crawl?”

"If this Weekly Digital Roundup will teach you anything, it’s that some people suck at Super Metroid.

Okay, that was a little too harsh, I apologize. In actuality, it’s quite fascinating to see some people’s first time with Super Metroid, which is on the Wii U Virtual Console for the ridiculously amazing price of $0.30. Even if some of those Miiverse posts are potential trolls, it does show us how many gamers of today are spoiled by the hand-holding tutorials of today’s games. Whatever happened to overcoming obstacles via your own exploration of a game’s mechanics?

But I digress. Nintendo’s eShop has seen its fair share of action this week, with Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts and Super Mario Bros. 2 now available for $8 a pop (or $1.50 and $1 respectively if you already own the Wii versions). The 3DS now has Mega Man 5 and Harvest Moon (GBC) on the Virtual Console."

I've played nearly every game listed in this article. If I remember correctly, I think the Punisher was the bloodiest.

Fusion did a great job at it. Really love that horror feel with metroid. I mean you are completely alone on alien planets filled with horrific monsters and toxic environments.
