Review: Sacred Citadel | Metro Gaming
On the surface Sacred Citadel does not appear to be a smart videogame. Its parent series, the popular Sacred action role-playing games, demand the player invest an amount of their playtime in inventory management and tactical combat. Sacred Citadel is a scrolling beat-‘em-up in which the player’s ability to hammer out combos is just as important as ensuring you pick up the new loot that is superior to your currently equipped weapons and armour.
