First five screen for action/rpg Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars on Wii
In what may be the first game to be ported directly from PC to Wii, Data Design Interactive today announced it will bring Call of Heroes to Nintendo's newest console after it's released for the PC next month.
You don't see that very often I've got to admit. The 360 and PS3 are pretty powerful machines so they can do a good port of a PC game. I'll be very interested to know how it'll look on the Wii version compared to the PC, especially as the Wii's graphics are more akin to a "GameCube 1.5" and were never really the focus for Nintendo compared to the gaming experience.
PC hits the Wii making history, an pretty intresting to see how it goes! BTW why haven't they made CITY OF HEROS, OR CITY OF VILLIANS on another system besides the PC yet?
Data Design announces the action RPG Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars for the Nintendo Wii.
Taking place in a fantasy medieval world, Call for Heroes takes players through a third-person action game with RPG elements. To save the world, players will have to defeat the Dark Souls wielded by an invading Demon named Pomplic.
Strategy First has released 22 new screenshots for Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars which is set to be released on the PC in North America during June.
Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars is a third-person action game with RPG elements. The game places players in a fantasy medieval world, where a dimensional portal to the Outer Worlds has opened, and an enemy from the darkness has encroached the world. Led by a demon named Pompolic, the armies of demonic hordes have taken over most of the planet. With mysterious origins, Pompolic's malevolent spiritual being possesses supernatural powers. His desire is to possess the people and turn them into minions of his dark army, as he wields his power through his servants, the Dark Souls.
This looks like it could be interesting. I don't think I've heard about it before either.
something a little different from the norm. This and Baroque should satisfy dungeon crawler fans.
I'm very curious now... an oblivion type game on Wii... should be nice. I'm going to be living under a bridge pretty soon if I keep buying more games...
I seem to remember this one coming up on a "worst games ever" list. Check out the PC review.... http://pc.ign.com/articles/...
Horrendous.
