Official Home release date is July?

Multiple spanish sites have posted up what is apparently an excel file which shows SCEE's release schedule.

So July is the month that starts the trend of my PS3 never being turned off. That's right, never. When I'm not playing a game I'll be fine tuning my city loft, converting movies to MP4s so I can entertain guests with Family Guy, movies (movie night in Home), and just have random tunes playing.

Can't wait. I really think Home could be as big as Phil Harrison envisioned it to be. If 3rd parties get involved it could be really special.

i am tired of these rumors for home. i pretty much expected a quick release for after it is revealed on egm. july is an excellent date. So essentially ps3 owners once again have great titles to play. March GT5, April GTA4, May Haze, June, MGS4, July SOCOM, August Possibly resistance

i've been waiting since october.. Give me something to be excited about! i seriously used to be a sony fan boy, defending it to the death.. But they can't justify my boredom.. left and right the 360 is getting all these exclusives and i'll never go buy a 360 but at the same time with the ps3, there's a lot left to be desired. I swear MGS4 better get a rating of 96 and above on metacritic to justify my waiting. I used to love my ps3 and keep it dustless every 2 weeks but now it's just a dust collector.. well, whats cool about home isnt the random communication with many a-doushce bags its the fact that you can watch other peoples movies at their Home spaces, the strategizing you do with your clan in real time environments (resistance), or in a to-scale mini model of maps (Warhawk). It will be launching games from home, the voice chat, the possibility of buying things like pizzas and having them delivered, the trophies and so on and so forth.

The possibilities are endless in a 3-d avatar environment. Those who are not excited about what this is going to do for the gaming community dont understand the concept of Home. So yes, you are missing something.

It has long been whispered that things like this will be integrated into home, in fact, its been said. So they would go into a contract with Pizza Hut or something, build them a home-space and allow users to walk up, order pizzas and then they will be delivered to your real home.

How about a logitec zone? maybe an EB games zone? if Home takes off I have no doubt all of this will become reality. being in the beta I can tell you the possibility is endless.

i know what you mean trust me a lot of us here know this for a fact, but what you have to understand here is that while the 360 is getting exclusives from left and right, sony is working on multiple things not just games, look sony has to work on home,sony has to work on the psn upgrades and at the same time make sure that a feature like in-game xmb doesn't screw up the memory in O.S. sony is working with both Ncsoft and SOE to distribute back to back MMORGS but all these things take time. thats like asking kojima or granturismo creator to go ahead and give us a rush job of their projects. hey the ps3 architecture isn't exactly the easiest to work on. so these things take time. yeah sure lost oddessy this too human that, but those are just two rpgs in my mind is not like sony isn't working this as we speak. to be honest with you sony has been working on new ips, versus say Microsoft which has already dished out like 2 PGR games in less than two years? heck even forza 2 doesn't look at as good as GT5prolouge and this is only an extended demo of one third of the actual GT5.

sure it may seem like MS has all the games but in reality they just simply release everything close together, so... come this fall sony will have the same reception because they will have the same strategy in place. and than what? sony gots game? lol.

Valkyrie, white knight chronicles, Aion: tower of eternity, desgaea 3? so.. yeah we too have rpgs as well and in 09 i don't see nothing facing FF13. last remnant? mutiplat? eternal sonata also coming to ps3 this year as well, and from what i hear star ocean 4 could very well be a ps3 exclusive as well.. also rogue galaxy 2 is also in the works as well add a few more NCsoft titles along with some SOE titles as well titles to the mix than what are we talking about?

so far in feb i got me MLB the show 08, and im having fun with that,luckily i can agreed and say that it is by far the best baseball game ive played, i mean 2k8 looks a bit washed out if you ask me, it seems EA's ongoing pursuit has probably been putting pressure on take 2 these recent months( not to mention EA has been after take 2 for a longer while than reported. anyways back on to the topic, until wipeout HD comes out soon, and than soon after HAZe, and than SKIP GTA and into MGS0 and than MGS4 on june. i think im good with that, hey even hot shots golf 3 is around the corner as well, but it seems to me most people just want home and the big guns now, and hey i don't blame you, any of you for wanting the goods now, but i don't blame em(sony) either, i mean in order for these big guns or home to come out smooth, they need time, sony just doesn't like to rush things. and to be honest i don't blame em, not one bit, heck i have grown used to it.

While these dates are probably just tenative, I'm surprised this story hasn't took off. No one recalls the (pin)Ballz music video Insomniac put out during GDC weekend? There were four codes. Three of 'em were on a refigerator. One of those codes had not been cracked until today. It hasn't been confirmed, but that is because if Insomniac confirms the DLC than it will give credence to the leaked screen capture. Anyways, I'll explain it to you.

The last code I was refering to above was an acronym that had be descrambled and then solved. They were put up in the form of magnets on the refigerator. The letters for this particular one are QBLDC4. Fellow board members and I over at MyResistance tried to crack this code for the better part of a month. JS, a community manager over at Insomniac, dropped a few hints for us along the way. Went from cold to warm back to cold and then sizzled at boiling only to fall back to cold. We spent the better part of a month trying to figure out what the boiling comment was refering to. On top of some other nice handy hints like having half right (DownLoadable Content), being told it did not have to do with Beta, did not have the word Quarter in it or Disruptor, being told to think outside of the box, and Rolf's comment over at NeoGAF about someone being really close but having no idea what they were talking about.

I'm probably missing a few others, but those stick out at the top of my head. Regardless, we spent weeks and weeks trying to discover what they were refering to. We finally made some progress when we decided that they had to have been refering to Quests. It was HUGE, as they described. And it could involve thinking outside of the box. So we continued to try and solve it. We started getting less and less hints and we started straying from the idea. Branching out in multiple directions.

JS came along and decided to shed some mercy on us, after being asked if he would confirm the answer for us if we got it right, and told us that it would be inconvienent if we got it right if there had been a magazine exlusive on the reveal. Then people got a little upset and decided to abadon the thread. Except for a few diligent members, the thread was really decimated. Posts didn't come by much. That is when those few that were still there decided to band together and try to come up with the answer. We must've gone insane.

Anyways, this morning, I had thought over all the hints, and tried to set us back on the right track as JS advised. I must have done pretty good. Narrowed down their hints back to Quests and Characters/Races. I suggested we go with Quests, but I left it open for others if they wanted to go with the other option. We even got the correct placement of the words, except we didn't know what B was and we thought the Quest was refering to Resistance 2. So it probably would have taken us a while longer to solve. But here was our last guess/word placement before jamieson gave us the heads up on the leak:

If only we just put booty in there. Heh heh. But like I said the leak broke out and we discovered the striking similarity the code had with the supposed PSN game due out in July. That is when we started piecing together everything and finally understood what JS and the others were suggesting with their hints. It just all made sense. On top of that, notice the leak had Ratchet: Quest for Booty listed as coming out in July. Remember that other obvious easter egg in the (pin)Ballz video? 0708? Now you're starting to get it. It was a date. 07/08. July 2008. This is too big of a coincidence. This is it. And hopefully I've helped you understand the whole scenario we've got here. I can write a follow-up to try and further explain it if enough people ask, or you can PM me.

Plus, anybody notice that the same day the R2 trailer (Oh, hell yes!) and some other PSN related goodies come out the PlayStation Store has been reported to experience a revamp? Interesting. Interesting indeed. :) I think I've made enough connections. But I'll try to come up with some more. SOCOM Confrontation was just reintroduced to the public and EGM, or was it 1UP, was going to/did cover it. So a trailer could make sense. Can't think of any more connections. But for now, hope this does the trick.
