WC - Back in January, the first DLC map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Revolution was released, containing four new multiplayer maps, a Zombies map, a new Zombies game mode and a Peacekeeper SMG. It’s probably worth saying that my opinion on these maps, modes and gun have changed a fair bit since my initial review - oh, and while Die Rise has gone down like a house on fire with the community, the amount of people playing Turned has dwindled to two-digit numbers. And all of that is a long-winded way of saying that Revolution was an unremarkable, but decent start to Black Ops 2′s DLC.
In multiplayer games the true professionals show. The Gameswelt editors selected the ten best and most popular multiplayer maps.
If u ever played metal Gear Online u would see they had some of the most balanced maps ever. Some people have recreated them in Far Cry 3's level editor (ps3) and breaking down the maps alone would make for a great study on level design.
Also Counter-Strike's maps are very balanced too. And some of MW2's maps. After MW2, the maps (and subsequently the spawns) in COD games really started to get rediculously unbalanced.
GameDynamo - "Call of Duty: Black Ops II's second map pack, Uprising, was recently released as part of the $50 season pass bundle or as a $15 map pack. Consisting of 4 brand new maps and a new gameplay type for the popular Zombies mode, this map pack is meatier than the previous offers in the season pass, so it may be worth buying individually for some."
Skewed and Reviewed have posted their review for the new Black Ops 2 map pack Uprising. They cite that the new maps offer some fun gameplay but do not offer anything that new or different. They cite the new zombie mode Mob of the Dead as a plus and say this set should tide over hardcore fans until the next pack is released.
