Even Japan can't deny that. Game scores say it all.
So low XBOX360 sales in Japan is just about Japaneses don't want to support Microsoft as a company because they want to be proud of their national SONY and want to see "real next-gen" as SONY told them to wait for. That is normal.

Could japanese consumers be put off by the 360's high failure rate? Some USA products sell very well over there. Anything Apple for example.. So just saying they won't buy American is not true. They are also, on average, more educated about their purchases.

This is bad example.
There is no strong competitor on this market from Japanese company to Apple. So they don't mind. SONY is a great Japanese competitor to Microsoft. There is a difference.

Hmmm. Please name a list of American made electronics that sell well over in Japan. Even a short list. I can name one, the iPod. The Japanese did not by based soley on the RROD. They did the same with the original Xbox. Japan has the world's 2nd best economy, this is soley beuase of their electronics and autompbile industry. They will not risk falling from this. They have national pride in their products and love their home grown products. Well at least this comes from at least a few dozen of my Japanese associates I knew when I was living there.

Back on topic, I am really suprise that Japanese magazine had so many 360 games that high on the list, especially since these games did not sell well in Japan, interesting.

Lost Odyssey was a complete disappointment with two many fundamental flaws. It just goes to show that the Japanese don't care what type of JRPG it is, they will play it.

The reason only five were on the list is that the PS3 versions of the multiplatform games were inferior to the 360 version so did not make the list.

This list is preaty stupid as half of the 360 exclusives are multi plats.

Guess no one before me posting read the titles and only looked at the total numbers then you yap about Japannesse being unneducated.

but not all multiplatform releases are put out on all platforms in Japan. I know the 360 has had a couple games that were exclusive to it's system there while being multiplatform in other regions.

Still nice to see the 360 at least acknowledged for it's superior games library. (of this gen)

The Xbox 360 was the lead platform on the multiplatform games. The 360 games were superior to the PS3 versions. Famitsu scored the 360 version higher than the PS3 versions.

Hence their inclusion in the top 25 and the PS3 versions not being in it.
