Will keep an eye to see how this turns out considering they've developed it properly for Switch and this one isnt just a mobile port. Could be good.

Braveheart_NZ2014d ago

I didn't get the first one since there was no online play and for racing games and for its longevity I feel a game like this needs some multiplayer. It sounds like there will be in the sequel so I might just buy this. I look forward to seeing the reviews, hopefully positive.

Maybe it's just me, but there's a certainly flatness/blandness to the design and graphics that makes this look like a mobile game. Eden's done good work in the past, loved Test Drive Unlimited, but there's a certain low quality feel to this that I just can't shake.

Eh, we'll see how it goes when it's released.

Segata2449d ago

It literally is a mobile game. It's a free android game but this is an enhanced port with added stuff.

OoglyBoogly2449d ago

LOL alright well I guess that answers that question. Thanks!

Looks pretty dry and generic to me. Also, graphics are hardly anything to write home about despite what other commentors may think. Cars are pretty standard quality and the environment I saw looked a bit "cartoonish".

Seems like a typical, "Our console needs that semi-serious racing game STAT!" type of game.

porkChop2490d ago

It's actually a really good game on mobile. It just needed physical controls, which it's getting on the Switch. Graphics aren't bad on mobile, but the Switch version will likely be touched up.

OoglyBoogly2490d ago

Oh wow so it's a mobile game? I guess it's fitting considering the Switches hardware.

porkChop2490d ago

It is mobile, but it's still a good game. It's made by Eden Games who made the Test Drive Unlimited games. gear.club has some of the best driving physics on mobile, more in line with what Eden has done on consoles.

If this turns out good then they can have some of money!
