Lag, pauses and stuttering
– The Voice communication system was quickly identified as a source of many of the problems associated with the stuttering and has therefore had an overhaul.
– Loading other characters when joining a location has been improved after the discovery of some problems in the object loader. This should mean that relocating is more stable.
– The pause that occurred when saving has been fixed in many situations.
Crash fixes
– The "Out of memory in character pool" crash has been fixed.
– The "Object manager" crash has been fixed.
– An intermittent problem that resulted in a crash to the XMB has been identified and fixed.
– An intermittent problem resulting in a complete freeze of the system has been identified and fixed.
General fixes
– The error causing duplicate lines of text to be seen in the chat log after spending time in a busy location has been fixed.
– The Telephone call system is fixed and working again.
– Many "No translation" errors have been fixed (tell us if we’ve missed any!)
– Problems that occurred when attempting to block another user from the Home Safe Screen have been fixed.
– There should be fewer issues with characters switching to low level of detail models and textures in busy locations.
Its looking like the patch will arrive next week rather than this week, mainly because we dont want to patch on a Friday and tomorrow would be a rush.
