XMNR: More details about Batman: Arkham Origins continue to fly following the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC game's reveal Tuesday. The latest is the size of the Gotham City game world that players will find themselves in as they control the Caped Crusader.
Licensing issues often leave many games forgotten. But all that aside, here are 10 classic games desperate for remasters.
The getaway
Smugglers run
Dead to rights
Worlds scariest police chases
Sure I’m missing a few.
Ape Escape.
Fun game but, wow, you need a college degree to understand the controls.
A remaster would also save you from having to constantly fight the camera.
Keep the music though. Those drum and bass tracks fit really well and haven't aged. Made me think that more games could work well with drum and bass tracks, but unfortunately it's a somewhat niche genre now.
Xenogears, Xenosaga trilogy, Vagrant Story, Drakengards, Parasite Eve and many more but I’ll start with those
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is almost here, but I can't revisit the best Arkhamverse game on PS5 without sacrificing quality.
Not a fan of Orgins. Blame it on the absence of Conroy & Hamill. Blame it on the lack of atmosphere compared to Asylm. Hell blame it the devs thst dicked over Wii U owners like me that purchased the game only for support be dropped as a thank you to me. It's better than Knight but that's not saying much. I don't care for that entry either.
Even though its not the best arkham game in the series, its still an enjoyable game in its own right. What it do really well at though, was the crime investigations scenes. Which imo, were the best of the franchise.
I don’t know about best game but it definitely has the best story and boss fights.
Never played it and recently I've finally tried it via cloud on psn. It's not the best for sure, but it ain't bad either.
Batman: Arkham Origins launched 10 years ago today, and sadly doesn't stand the test of time as well as its predecessors.
I fail to grasp why this title is worse compared to Arkham City (according to the article) as the author didn't provide any argument to explain why aside from that it felt the bigger map compared to Arkham Asylum made the experience less tight.
More importantly, the author seems like he never played Arkham City since he described the game as linear (alongside Asylum).
Ok. This game might be awesome without Rocksteady.
"Overall, this part of Gotham City will be somewhat familiar as it is largely where Arkham City took place just set well before the walls were erected."
I knew it, I bloody knew it
They've basically reskinned the map Rocksteady did in Akrham City to make it look less....ruined and the smaller new part will be the new location they've just added onto.
Hopefuly we´ll get to drive the batmobile.
Batman is becoming the new AC, CoD, BF.
I loved the first game, the second was great to, but I had a dejavu feeling while I was playing it.
So I assume I should skip the third game, or the dejavu feeling will become boredom.
