Persona 4 takes a vastly different approach to the types of JRPGs that you’re probably used to, and that’s evident as soon as the story begins. Rather than placing you in the typical fantasy setting, you play a young city boy transferred to the rural town of Inaba to stay with his uncle while his parents are away for a year.
What starts as a peaceful school life in a small town is swiftly interrupted as Inaba is rocked by a succession of murders, and it becomes apparent that the victims are inexplicably appearing on TV around the same time as their disappearance and eventual murders.
Atlus has announced a collaboration with a well-known Japanese distillery to launch the Persona series' very own whiskey, releasing tomorrow.
I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.
Hopefully soon, given the limited availability.
Only one of the games on the top ten is completely original.
90 percent of Metacrtitic's top ten highest-rated games of 2023 so far are remasters and remakes, with Hi-Fi Rush acting as the only wholly original game to make the list so far.
We might only be in March, but it seems like we've already got tons of great games to be talking about, including Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Persona 4 Golden, and Metroid Prime Remastered. There is one commonality between those games, however - most of them are remakes and remasters.
Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royale receive high praise and low prices with accolades trailer & generous sales.
Already own physical versions of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers along with digital versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden on Switch. Will definitely double dip if physical versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.

Good read and glad you "discovered" P4G but the the game is not a direct port, it got lots of gameplay changes.

U need to get Persona 3 Portable too, the storyline is equally amazing and it got the same mechanics as P4G.
