Interview: Year Walk Developer Simogo Co-Founder Simon Flesser

GodisaGeek: "Back in February, Year Walk came to the App Store and has proven to be Simogo’s biggest success, yet. With brilliant art design, terrific use of sound and an engaging narrative, Year Walk is one of those iOS games that definitely breaks the mould. The differences between the studio’s latest game and their previous efforts is startling and naturally, that was the first thing I asked Simon about."

Top 5 Must-Have iOS Games for Serious Gamers

COG writes: The iOS, as a platform, doesn’t get a lot of respect from gamers. And that is for understandable reasons – the plethora of silly, cute flash-based casual games on iPhone and iPad does make it seem that it has little to offer the serious gamer.

Review - Year Walk | Use A Potion

"I’d gone into Year Walk not even knowing what the heck a ‘Year Walk’ actually was – I walk away not only learning about one of the most bizarre, yet interesting, forms of divination I’ve encountered but also incredibly impressed by the game itself. It’s surprising how well the whole concept lends itself to a video game; a massive credit to Simogo. The game offers enjoyable puzzles and a dark, haunting world to explore. This is a horror experience that doesn’t try to frighten you out with gore, jump scares or hideous monsters but an actual disturbing atmosphere. I don’t need to partake in a Year Walk to know I’ll be playing through this again in the future…" - Use A Potion
