Netmarble.com is bringing the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Arcane Saga(once known as Prius Online) back to life with all-new content for players in North America, South America and Europe. In preparation for the rebirth, Netmarble is issuing a call for brave adventurers and warriors to sign up for the upcoming beta test on the game's official site:www.ArcaneSaga.com. The closed beta test phase begins on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Bad news for fans of Arcane Saga. Netmarble is going to close the servers permanently on September 16th 2013. The cash shops are already closed and any NC you currently have will be available to spend on other titles. The GM staff will host a series of events like XP Boosts and Boss Events until the final day.
Arcane Saga is a new free to play online MMO RPG from Netmarble, the combat has combos, and there is open world PVP, it has classes, warrior, mage, gunslinger, Templar, blade, elementalist, huntress, minstrel etc..
Arcane Saga is a terrible game made from the guts of a previously kind of okay game. I seriously don't know what they were thinking.
Oh, and be sure to buy the Xenor pack for the game on Steam! Because anyone who's going to PvP actively in that game is going to have the pots that heal them for 100% of their HP or MP on a 30 second CD. It's ridiculous what Netmarble have done here.
Arcane Saga promised to be the relaunch of now-defunct Prius Online,but its beta proves to be quite the opposite.
Several of the game's systems have either been removed entirely or changed, and the uneven leveling pace mixed with an empty world makes very little sense in today's competitive MMO market. It's hard to comprehend what developer Netmarble was thinking with this remake.
