The central conceit - that of a close-up X-ray camera detailing the effect of a bullet in terms of human viscera - turned out to be a grizzly and hypnotic spectacle that was also incredibly crass considering the World War II subject matter. The overall was that of a bizarre mixture of comic-book adventure and reverence for the period, and it was all a little uncomfortable."
Nazi Zombie Army has been announced by Rebellion.
First teased with a trailer last month, the zombie spinoff is set in the Sniper Elite V2 universe.
The trailer shows supernatural summons, minigun-wielding zombies and four players taking on undead hordes.
Both developed and published by Rebellion, it will be released exclusively on Steam.
More details for Nazi Zombie Army will be revealed tomorrow (February 14) when it is available to pre-purchase from Steam.
