It’s time to unearth a truly hidden gem for today’s Soundtrack Spotlight. This one is from Sega and Smilebit’s fantastical 2003 rail shooter, Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Titled “Altered Genos” and accompanying the level of the same name, the piece is a whimsical wind instrument extravaganza that gives off a sense of carefree exploration and natural discovery. The level itself takes place along a jungle river teeming with wildlife, making it all the more fitting.
