We have looked through the pages of Gaming History to decide on the sequels we most felt were disappointing, unnecessary , or just plain bad. Here’s Our list for Top 5 Worst Video Game Sequels
A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment
GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.
The modern entertainment industry has witnessed the rise of the Resident Evil franchise as one of its most renowned and celebrated multimedia phenomena. With numerous video games released across multiple platforms, it can be daunting for newcomers to determine where to commence their journey. So here is every main mainline Resident Evil Games ranked.
In preparation for the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake, let’s take the liberty to rank each of the mainline story instalments, providing players with a fundamental comprehension of the Resident Evil universe.
Crackdown 2 should be on that list.
"The survival genre is being expanded massively and times are changing, and Resident Evil can’t keep up with the change."
Expanded? No, more like lacking
Resident Evil 6 (and even RE5) is a perfect example of how going after new fans instead of focusing on the ones you already have, kills a franchise.
Lack of horror, an even worse story, pointless characters, lack of fan fan favorites, too many differnt stories going on, too much action etc
If anything this franchise needed a reboot more then DMC.
I don't see why they don't just start from the mansion incident again, change some things around to effect future events and by the time you get up to the 4th game the time line will be altered so much they will tell totaly differnt stories but with the characters we love. For starters this idea could easily get rid of the plagas or even bring Raccoon City back. I mean the first game will even seem like a remake in some ways.
As for Banjo....hey theres still hope, they could write off that game as a non cannon spin off and do Banjo Threeie
@ AngelicIceDiamond .Whoa someone is touchy. So ready to attack that you mentioned stuff that aren't even sequels. And Sorcery, PSAS and Wonder Book are far from the worst anything.
Something tells me this list was made for hits barring Duke nukem, all of them were atleast decent and there are far worse sequel. What about sonic 06, DMC 2, final fantasy 14, Golden axe 360/ps3 and bomber man on 360?
Duke Nukem is shitty.
