DToid:Super House of Dead Ninjas can be played for free on the Adult Swim website, but getting it on Steam nets you an upgraded version. The map editor and player-created dungeons offer up tools for you creative types and a bounty of new levels for those that can't get enough of the main game and its extra, transdimensional tower. It also comes with added items and unlockables, as well as an upgraded soundtrack. The latter is cracking, as well, containing some wonderful oriental-themed chiptunes.

Popcar2 at Fextralife writes, "Some games are overhyped, while other games are ironically popular because of how bad they are, but the biggest issue in the indie-gaming world are games that should’ve been popular, but simply don’t have any recognition. And that’s why I’m here today."
Added to the game are the One-armed Ninja from the original House of Dead Ninjas – the free version of Super House of Dead Ninjas – who deals double damage but can't use magic. This addition is a nice throw-back to the original game that many may not have even known existed. This character provides a new dynamic on the game when you're left without magic which is the quickest way of defeating bosses. Are you a True Ninja? Play as the One-armed Ninja and find out!
