Will DICE just make Battlefield 2143 already?

DICE keeps teasing and teasing us with Battlefield 2143. Will they just make the game already?

DICE has fallen to the Darkside by being corrupted by EA so who knows what is coming!!!

Also alot of people didn't like 2142 so DICE may be on the fence about it!

I see 2143 as some huge $20 Expansion pak for BF4 like how Bad Company Vietnam was for Bad Company 2

I miss bc2 and Vietnam. They should've just made all those maps as DLC for BF3 on top of everything already out for it.

I disagree about DICE's integrity, but agree that a 2143 expansion is an option. And a damn good option as far as I'm concerned. Vietnam offered a lot of content for the money, and having 2143 content as an add-on would speed up development, and as long as Battlefield 4 is great, the expansion could be great.

This would be awesome! It could be a fitting tribute to those loyal xb360 BF fans! as it would be a great send off to the series and the end of the 360's life span!

I don't think EA has corrupted DICE. DICE has been with EA for over a decade or so now. They have learned to coexist with them (somehow, they made it work).

One set of numbers doesn't mean they're going to make the game. Even if it IS a good easter egg, it doesn't mean anything yet.

I hate how the article implies there are MULTIPLE teaser easter eggs, when all I've heard of is just the one in End Game and the one on Wake Island...

First of all, this is how they did it with 2142. There were 2 easter eggs in BF2 teasing 2142. Now there are 2 easter eggs in BF3 teasing 2143. Secondly, 2 is a multiple of 1.

They stager them. I can wait for BF4 tbh. If they made BF2143 it would be refreshing to get out of the normal setting of modern day.

I'm pretty sure 2143 will be an expansion for BF4. Just watch, the pre-order/Limited Edition will come with 2143, just like BF3 Limited Edition came with B2K. That's a great way to 1-up other games like CoD by providing DLC that changes the entire game. Maybe they'll even do a WW2 expansion? And another Vietnam one? Would be awesome to have a BF game that features all eras.

B2k was pretty weak what 3 maps 4? B2k was a let down and just a map pack with all the same stuff.

Bf2143 would require new weapons new vehicles al with different ways of playing all together.

Not shooting you down but if they use B2k as a mold thne i would be sad to see them ruin 2142

Uh... are you sure you played B2K? It didn't just use all the same stuff as BF3, and it wasn't just a map pack. It had 10 new weapons, 4 new maps, 4 new vehicles, 10 new assignments, 5 new dogtags, and an exclusive game mode (Conquest Assault). That's pretty good considering it's price.
