PlayStation Store Preview – March 12th, 2013

This week features the resurrection of one of my favorite fighting franchises, Darkstalkers. Sound Shapes and Dead Space 3 get DLC, an Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel demo hits the store, and a couple handfuls of PSOne Imports arrive—all coming this week to the PlayStation Store.

Spec Ops: The Line was a really pleasant surprise. I never would have played this had it not been for PS+.

Great game. Had a ton of fun playing that last year. too bad the Vita version isn't under $10 too. For $14 I'll still keep holding off for a better price retail.

Yeah, Joe Danger for me too.. plus I got GoW Ascension coming in the mail, and I started downloading Ni no Kuni last night, so hopefully it will be ready to play when I get home.

Anyone know when Rain may launch?

That feature, play while downloading will not work, think about it.
Imagine new CoD game release, milions of gamers will overload the servers on day one.
All of them expecting to be able to play while downloading.
I see the Diablo 3 scenario and gamer outrage, and a huge backfire on Sony for advertising a feature that's NOT working.

I don't think anyone would expect multiplayer. They'll probably say campaigns only. I would expect the main menu with multiplayer grayed out or an error message and the download instead of being random packages being the ones needed for chronological gameplay of the single player mode.

GoW 3 takes up 35gb of space. GoW:A is probably even bigger cause the multiplayer component. That's a huge download and bigger than a lot of people's download cap.

WTF is what I want to know.Why wouldnt it be day one for a Sony exclusive?No offense but thats bullshit.Instead they give us ass demos and crappy games.Sony needs to get there heads out of there asses and put that in the store today.This makes no sense.

lolwut such an average racer like "Motorhead: High Velocity Entertainment" (PS1) arrives before the classic Gran Turismo games? what the he11...i want the true classics not the games we hardly care about.

Motorhead its a decent racer tough it plays sorta like Ridge Racer Type 4.

Agreed, boobs are hard to beat. I still can't believe we went a whole generation without anyone releasing another Darkstalkers or Killer Instinct.

I am. Had some great fun with one of my friends when we played The 40th Day. Hoping this will build on it.

There's just so many damn games coming out soon that it's hard to put it high on my list, since I prioritize single player games.

I have it reserved at my local GameStop, but I'm not excited for it. I was more excited for the 40th day than Devil's Cartel. But thats because I enjoyed the first one. The second was great with a live partner, but laggy while playing online.

I hope they do the same thing with ps plus for the ps4 & add home to it aswell. I love these 2 services. Even without ps plus u can just go into home for free and play dozens of games for free. U cant beat the value u get from these 2 services.
