oprainfall writes: “At a recent press event in Japan for the upcoming Darkstalkers Resurrection, Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano talked about the possibility of bringing the rest of the Darkstalkers games to modern consoles. According to Siliconera’s report, Ayano explained that the reason this game contains only Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 is because they were the most popular. They didn’t want to ‘fragment the active userbase across too many different games and their arcade versions’.”
