Xenoblade Headed to Wii U?

While perusing the internet today, MVGN came across an interesting video game listing on BestBuy. Apparently the troubled electronics chain thinks that the stunning Wii RPG is headed to Wii U.

So many people missed out of the original because it was released when the wii was dead, Its now hard to find and relatively expensive. Considering the Wii U software draught, now would be the perfect time for a HD digital version.

xenoblade was a 2010 game in japan 2011 in europe and 2012 in america

Seeing how the game is near impossible to find and when found it is nearly 85 to 125 dollars-

I think it is a great idea.

Personally, just allowing the game to be on Downlodable Wii Title would be fine- but a cheap HD remake/upgrade would be fine too- as long as it's cheaper than $85.

Though my ebst guess is that they just happened to name the upcoming monolith soft "X" game as Xenoblade =(

Hmmmmm heard this game was good. When and if i ever do get a Wiiu a few years down the road i would like a Xenoblade HD version for my Wiiu.

I never owned a Wii and havent played Xenoblade although I would love to I hope it gets re-released on WiiU I have heard nothing but good things about this game. Some reviewers even said that it was the best JRPG released this genenration

Got the game day one at Gamestop with the special artbook. It is in my top 3 Japanese RPGs this generation along with Lost Odyssey and Valkyria Chronicles. Glad I own all three consoles.

Best RPG of the seventh generation in my opinion. It's a classic and a lot of people are going to look back on how great it was.

I was at gamestop the other day and a guy was trading in a copy of this game brand new still in the shrink wrap with the artbook. They low balled the guy and I gave him 45 for it :-)

This is really a great idea. They can touch up the visuals, possibly add some extra content (it would be like a Final Mix edition), and also release it on the eShop. That way, Xenoblade can be available to the masses and receive the sales that this amazing game deserves.

thats terrible. the gamestops that are all nearby me still have those copies brand new too. Sad hardly anyone near my area brought it. theres like 8 copies spread out to like 4 gamestop

How about including Xenoblade HD in Xenoblade II?

That would give you a nice 180-250 hrs of gameplay if the sequel is anywhere near the original :)

Actually that would be a great idea. While Xenoblade sold well, it could of done better if it was released outside of GameStop. Not to mention it would be a great way to introduce people to the game before Xenoblade 2 comes out. Hell they could include a demo of Xenoblade 2 as extra incentive. But it's more than likely not true.

this just adds pretty much to the rumor that X is xenoblade 2 cause monolith and nintendo might just be porting this game to get people all caught on the story

Xenoblade is a GREAT rpg! hands down.
Nothing like trying to attack a mob many levels higher than you only to get owned. It reminds me of a MMO but played solo. Really cool stuff! I wished they make more games like this!

I love how there's high leveled monsters pretty much everywhere. Makes the world so much more dangerous.

Hell, even facing groups of 5 or 6 enemies at once that have the same level range as you is too much to handle at times.

In this game, there's no shame in running. It really makes you pick your battles.

Do it Nintendo I beg you actually I say they do a remastered HD package on the project rainfall games. Bundle all 3 and sell them as a collectors edition 150 and include a soundtrack and some art books maybe a poster or action figures. Sell it for &160.00 and it's a wrap.
