All in all, it's a step forward from the original, but still retains much of the flaws and annoyances. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity isn't the best racer on the market, and in the case of the Wii's catalogue it's not the worst either.
Sonic fans will be chuffed to see regulars making appearances, and the storyline coming together as the game progresses. However, much more work is needed in control and difficulty to tighten up a potentially good formula. Perhaps only for the hardcore fans of the blue wonder then.

Actually I am in my 20's and have gone back and played many of the Sonic games made, personally I find a lot of the older games to be absolutely awful with a particular nod to the original Sonic the Hedgehog. I know a good game when I play it and the games on my list and ones that are truly great and the pinnacle of the Sonic experience.
Well. I guess an opinion is an opinion.
But just because you can't make it through a game doesn't make it bad.

2. Sonic 2
3. Sonic and Knuckles
4. Sonic 3
5. Sonic the Hedgehog 1991
That's pretty much my list, only I'd put S&K and Sonic 3 at 1 and 2. And maybe drop Adventure for Sonic Chaos for GameGear/Master System, I had so much fun with that game.
