Gadget Mill: The E3 2013 expo is only a few months away now and will be held on June 11-13 at the Los Angelas Convention Center. Now with Sony playing their cards early before the E3 event I think it is a great time to make a prediction on what to expect including the ‘winner of the show’.
Experience the epic conflict of Kain and Raziel in original form or with remastered graphics.
Looks like an emulated PS version with up-res mods. Not that huge of a difference visually but still a great game.
Embark on thrilling adventures within the enchanting worlds of LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete and LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue Complete! These two cherished JRPGs have delighted gamers for generations. Now, in this definitive remastered edition, experience enhanced graphics, audio, and quality-of-life improvements that make the journey even more magical!
I am so all over this I still have my Saturn copies. I just wish Namco would give me the Xenosaga trilogy as a remaster. I also wish the Ar Tonelico games also got a remaster.
This is the only game where I still have the original PS1 discs for and I had always wished for a modern remake/remaster.
Yesterday people here complained about remasters but this is a cool remaster to see. I own them on PS1, but glad that these games can be supported again on modern hardware (of course those can be easily emulated if that's your style).
The blighted gods have unleashed a fearsome dragon on Thedas. It's up to you, as Rook, to use all your tactical skills and abilities in the fight - whilst commanding your companions in battle with the ability wheel - to fight smart and deliver the most devastating attacks and combos to bring the gigantic beast down.
The game's not looking that bad ... just consider this as a Dragon Age spinoff and not directly related Origins and maybe the perception becomes better?
PlayStation 4 The Win
'UK early 2014'
Oh god please not again.
Some of these "predictions" are truly awful;
Bluray on the next Xbox? Not a chance.
More powerful than PS4? Unlikely.
New Xbox price $400? Nope.
New Xbox launch date late 2013 worldwide? Unlikely
Okay, this entire concept is stupid.
There is no winner. It's not a goddamn contest. It's just a show to impress viewers and shareholders. You can argue who you felt had the best or worst showcase, but no one's really "winning" anything outside of attention.
You can't really predict anything because there is no way to know what will be shown. Expectations were high for Nintendo last year and most people concede that they blew it. Ubisoft was generally seen as the victor that year and I doubt anyone expected that.
Finally, can't we just wait for the show to actually come? I'd rather approach every part of the show objectively BEFORE generating some sort of personal assessment.
Game journalism folks. Let's jump the gun faster than we've jumped the shark.
wait since when did nintendo show statistics in their conference, what kind of statistics?
This will probably be the best E3 since 2009 when all three companies had a great showing
