Neverwinter Closed Beta Impressions

I recently had the opportunity to participate in Cryptic Studios’ first closed beta weekend for their upcoming free-to-play the new D&D-based MMORPG Neverwinter. While it has only been eight months since my first encounter with Neverwinter, memories began to return with thoughts of Neverwinter Nights. Although the game is not part of the prequel, it still takes place in the Forgotten Realms and is based on the 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons Campaign Setting as well.
