Sam Adonis continues his From Our Backyard series of games posted by developers on the Indie Game Magazine Community forums. Today he covers Amazing Ants from Below Zero Games, a Pac-Man'ish strategy game about ants fighting each other.
Pocket Gamer: As you'll have no doubt read in my review of Pocket Gems's Amazing Ants, one of the biggest issues I have with this new freemium puzzler is the following:
Unless you're prepared to spend some cold hard cash, you will die of boredom BEFORE you get to experience all the good bits.
I'm not sure in what way ants are supposed to be amazing. Sure, we've all heard about how they build colonies, protect the queen, and somehow communicate with one another using chemical signals.
