Crysis 3 Plagued With Hackers Already

For a game that isn't out yet, Crysis 3 is sure having it's fair share of problems with hacking. Vlogger NickBunyun has done up a short video detailing some of the issues, as well as Crytek's response to them.

Not a good sign if the aimbots from Crysis2 are already working on the new version. Need to get it under control

tachy0n4476d ago

do people actually think crytek would just put anti hack protections so hackers can destroy it i the beta?

after the Beta is done the new system will be in place.

xseven4476d ago

I understand that part... but the fact is that as mentioned in other videos that hacks from Crysis2 were easily applied to C3... and C2 had lots of hacking issues in Beta that weren't handled in release.

I'm not saying that C3 is screwed now, it just sounds more like someone not learning from their mistakes if hacks from the previous game aren't even fixed.

lol, If you look closely when the guy slows down the video in one part you can see Pandamobile's name in there. Hmmm I sure hope you were playing legit Panda...

Aimbots... wrecking matches since Unreal Tournament.

Hackers are so lame and they suck at gaming.

I am sure they will rage when cloud gaming comes.

Multiplayer intrigues me with this one...but I'll buy it mostly for the single player campaign.

Its nothing more then a same old same old mediocre shooter, marketed to be something new anyway.

Thought the main draw was its graphics and physics engine?

And with this I understand why EA's threatening to ban people who fail to report bugs in the beta from their servers since they're likely hacking, but I still don't like the idea that its EA judgment alone.

Merrill4476d ago

It's main draw certainly isn't graphics for the consoles, at least based on what I am playing in the beta. I know it's a beta, but damn it's an ugly game. Low quality textures, jaggies everywhere, blur... hurts the eyes. I hope it's an early build

You would surmise initially. I wasn't that interested in it but I thought I would try the beta out anyways. IT IS SOO MUCH FUN. I mean, the modes are not really ground breakingly new such as Hunter (my favorite mode) which is the same as Halo's infection or ninja gametypes that they had. But the way that Hunter seems to play out on Crysis 3 is different from games I have played that are similar. It's really immersive and I have a lot of fun playing it. Also for some reason I am quite good at it even though I've only played a couple games.

I don't know, you've got these super powers in Crysis so it's a fresh take on a shooter, and yet, you are so vulnerable and Crysis 2 was always a game that made me nervous and planning out my moves beforehand because you could easily still be overpowered. It's not like a CoD charge kill rinse repeat cycle.

Therefore, for me, Crysis is a win in it's category as a unique shooter in my books. Doing it's own thing in a way, not just the same old same old.

Absolutely insane. Man I'm hope they land on their feet EA needs to get the shit together badly....

This is why this industry has slow releases and none compelling games.

Why would anyone willingly work in the VG industry or specifically for one of these globocorp organizations that put you in constant fear of losing your livelihood based on terrible choices made by idiotic management, not the people with talent making the actual games?
