Does anyone know of a good website that will sell a great gaming PC. All i want is to run everything at 60 frames on ultra settings. How much would I need to spend?I want to use my led tv for a monitor is that possible? And can you play with your Xbox/ps3 controller.

kevnb4521d ago

its easiest with a 360 controller, and ya you can play on a tv. Now everything at 60 fps depends on what you want to play, most games dont take much but some games are really hard to max at 60fps.

not sure why you got the disagree, playing on a tv with a 360 controller is very simple

You will need a very good computer to play Metro 2033 on Ultra at 60fps. Depending on what compositions you are willing you make you will probably spend between $600-$1100. The higher end of that is if you want to run games like Crysis 3, Metro 2033/Last Light, and the Witcher 2 on Max Settings with constant 60fps. Most games work perfect with a 360 controller.

That sounds about right, but because Metro 2033 was not well optimized you can't evem get 60FPS with a single 2GB GTX 680 playing at 1080p. Most games however max out with that card and you get a steady 60FPS with it. You can run The Witcher 2 with max as well at 60FPS, but with ubersampling disabled. Unfortunately games such as mentioned above as well as Sleeping Dogs running with everything maxed out makes the higher end single graphics cards work hard for its money.

Thank you guys for your advice. I thought it was going to cost more. I'm willing to spend a 1000 on a PC. I want games like crysis 3 and battlefield 3 and far cry 3. I also saw devil may cry running at 60 frames on YouTube. It looked smooth as butter. So do I have to build my own to get the best bang for the buck or is there a brand PC I should consider?

Skate-AK4521d ago

Best would be to make your own. Price wise you will get more performance out of building your own rather than buying it pre built.

Very much this ^^^

In addition, learning to build your own PC will help with quick troubleshooting down the road.

When you demystify the PC it becomes much less complex, so when you do encounter a problem you can fix it quickly and cheaply.

Pre-built PCs are way over-priced IMO.

building it yourself is less expensive but here are some websites if you don't want to go through the trouble
