New X-Box 360 Controller doing the rounds?

A few months ago, at around the same time that Nintendo announced the Wii’s revolutionary controller, a comment by Peter Moore sparked controversy around the world, as he seemed to be hinting that Microsoft were creating a new controller, which would apparently be "suited to first person shooters".

Rumours began flying about the type of control system it may use – will it be a trackerball? Motion sensing? Will they just shuffle the buttons around?

Ever since Moore dropped the first big hint, all has been quiet on the new controller front. However, news has surfaced recently that Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatusa, legendary developer of the Pro Evolution Soccer series, is in possession of two of the new controllers.

Rumour has it that Microsoft sent him the new controllers so he could optimise the PES controls for it, making it as playable as it’s Playstation counterpart.

Stay tuned to totally360.com as more details on the new controllers surface.
