In the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, newspapers like The Sun and The Express were quick to blame games like Call of Duty and Dynasty Warriors. Here it's argued that what this shows, aside from kneejerk, oft-repeated sentiments, is a wider problem concerning mental health.
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
Call of Duty players are jumping into Black Ops 2 for the final time before its Wii U servers go offline for good.
GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 leap up due to summer sales
Wow, good games never get old I guess.
CoD will always be a beast of a franchise, and how awesome is it that you can just boot it up or pop it into your Xbox and play, MS BC is really a neat feature.
Blaming Dynasty Warriors now?
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha!! !!
Haha The Sun, I wouldn't be too concerned about any headlines they pull from their asses. About 97.5% of its readers forgot about the cover story once they see the ti*ties on page 3. :)
LOL love the article. It is so easily to jump the gun and blame videogames. When I last checked there are alot more issues hear to be dealt with.I have always had a problem with how easily guns are handed out.Maybe if they did alot more backround checks and what not this possibly could solve some of the problems. But your not going to be able to stop anybody who have there mind set to what they are going to do if you dont even know that they are going to do it.The internet pretty much gives you everything you need to know about doing such evil acts.Once they start pointing the fingers in the right direction then we might get some wheres in life, but until then there will always be an easy scapegoat for any tragic event.god bless there souls and I hope everyone has a great christmas.
I dunno man, all the pieces fit. I mean, it's not like most young men these days play a lot of Call of duty, that's a pretty rare thing. It's not like its a popular game or anything. Also the plumber describing the kid's room as weird, that's pretty unusual too, it's not normal for a probably middle-aged manual labourer to find anything strange about the bedroom of a young nerdy kid. Every manual labourer who has ever entered my house looks at my shelves full of sci-fi movies and games and my stacks of philosophy books and gives me an approving nod or engages me in a short discussion about Jung's theory of the collective unconscious.
