Respawnables Review (Modojo)

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Zynga's caught some flack for blatantly copying other games, and its newest iOS release, Respawnables, probably won't do much to change that. This free-to-play third-person shooter appears to take a page or two from the likes of Battlefield Heroes and Team Fortress 2, with easily accessible controls, speedy matches and cartoon-style graphics. Not exactly the most original game, but it's unlike anything we've seen for iPhone and iPad. Rough around the edges, but we can't put it down.

If you can appreciate the hilarity of a bunch of cartoon-ishly drawn burly men running around in strange outfits with giant weapons, and have at least a minor appreciation of online shooters, you’re probably going to like Respawnables.

John Bedford (Modojo): Earlier this week, we flagged up Respawnables as one of the best iPhone multiplayer games you can get for your snazzy mobile device. With today's release of Version 1.5, there's now even more reason to get stuck into the third-person shooting action.
