Is this what rumors have become now? Information confirmed from the horses mouth from several years prior? Anyone who's more than two years old and plays games knows this...but the sad thing is, even if MS never said it, this isn't the type of thing that anyone needs to be TOLD for them to know it. Does a bear sh*t in the woods indeed...

I think that MS' next console coming out is news because the current 360 owner wants to know if they're going to kill the system in the same way they killed the original Xbox when 360 came out. But yeah, we all know their next console is coming

Microsoft can recycle is old HDDVD external player and put in XBOX720 for cheap price ;) cant't play blu-ray films but more cheap space for games.

I really don't want a 4 year cycle minimum for consoles. I really really hope MS doesn't release a console that early. Cause then they'll put pressure on Sony to release their console and all the developers'll follow and it'll be the ps3's first year all over again, except this time the PS4'll arrive two years later. I really really hope MS just sticks it out AT LEAST an extra year this time.

Every console maker starts at least some research on their next console soon after one is released. That's why you have research and development teams. What a console is not born or thought of 2-3 years before it's release. Sheesh you call that a rumor...

On that note: What's been the average in history for console releases?

I'll gladly take the average..bring it on. technology moves at a rapid pace....

yeah it will be interesting...how quickly microsoft give up on the xbox360 since their year head start strategy did not work,.

Its in dev. Ps4 is in the back of Sony too. However I think the ps4 will just be an upgrade nothing compared to the step up from ps2 to ps3. If a new format presents itself maybe new drive another cell like they planned to for the ps3, but tooken out because to huge of a step up for devs, and better graphic chip.

Anywayz ofc yea the new xbox is prob in development hopefully they get the process right and not have another epidemic in their systems. Maybe I buy 1 then if they can get their shyt together.
