PlayStation Blog: Making the decision to develop an entry of the DJMAX TECHNIKA franchise for PlayStation Vita was something of a no-brainer. The arcade game is known for its stylish cabinet, high-definition background videos, and innovative touch-screen game play. PS Vita is known for its stylish design, high-definition graphics, and innovative dual touch control scheme. Everything seems to line up, until you realize that the gameplay experience on a 22” touch screen has to be re-created for a handheld platform.
Siliconera: Pentavision’s music series DJMax is known for having elaborate limited editions. DJMax Technika Tune will get a bundle too and here’s a look at what Cyberfront put together for Japan.
Siliconera: CyberFront will release DJ Max Technika Tune from Neowiz Mobile (formally Pentavision) in Japan.
Product-Reviews writes: We’re hearing that DJ Max Technika is being ported to the Vita straight from arcade, but we would rather see the Vita given a unique game that the brand new hardware deserves, and that could only come in the form of DJ Max Portable 4. DJ Max Technika is a game that is designed for touch only, but we would rather see a game that utilizes the buttons as well to mix it up a bit and give that touchscreen a bit of a rest from time to time – that screen is gorgeous after all.
I don't know, but to me, it wouldn't feel normal to play a rhythm game on touch controls alone. I hope it has modes that use the buttons and analog too..
Put them both. I'm a fan of DJ technika in the arcades. Even though I suck at it, I still enjoyed playing it. Loved the songs, loved the game play.
Looks good!!
One of the main reasons why I got a Vita.
This game was very difficult, good visuals though.
I will get this even though I suck at this kind of game >_<
oh this game is superb especially for music lovers. i have already plat Hatsune Miku Project Diva. Not sure if I can do so for this one. Seems more difficult to do so from what I have been through so far. But the game is still awesome. Almost exact to the arcade version of the game with a twist. Already play this for a few months now. Got the limited edition during Korea's release.
