Flight simulators are not in their best days, with little interest on the part of players, perhaps because of games like Battlefield where in addition to all the action on foot and with other vehicles still can control airplanes, referring to the background-only games focused on this point.

Air Conflicts Pacific Carriers is a flight simulator that is now available on Steam for a month and is now at 50% discount. This is one of the games most generic of WWII I've ever played. It was good to play a game of WWII that is not a FPS but this game is boring and repetitive and far behind in basically every genre of games I've played. It was fun at first, but went downhill after the first mission and even that has its moments.
