Launch day titles for consoles are generally poorly veiled attempts at showing of the cool new gimmicks that the new piece of hardware is capable of. Often, this leads to shallow minigame collections (like Little Deviants for the Vita) or legitimately interesting games that are brought down by their insistence on cramming as many features as possible into the experience (like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, also for the Vita). ZombiU, however, shows off the Wii U’s feature set by making all of those things both essential to the experience and fun to use.
HPP's Josh crafts an unholy list of the Top 8 Spooky Games In Need a Sequel That Originated on Nintendo Platforms. From old to new, a gory list to dream about.
The title says the criteria was explicitly written to mention Eternal Darkness. I am happy to see House of the Dead: OVERKILL on here. With the rise of Grindhouse themes in the 2010s, (ie WET), this was one that was both entertaining and camp funny.
Would be nice to see a new Zombie game set in the UK again, some of the landmarks, old architecture and the like really fits in well with the genre.
Neil writes: "It's been a strange few weeks in the gaming world, with Triple-A releases continuing to be pushed back, allowing for the indie game scene to rule the roost. But if you're one of those players who are struggling to find games to play then the Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale is back to ensure that backlog of gaming experiences continues to grow. But what Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles are on sale during the week of 23rd-29th June 2020?"
London's a fantastic city, so it's no wonder it's featured in so many games. Here are 10 of the best video game representations of England's capital.
No thank you Gamespew. Not flipping through single pages of ads.
Also speaking of London, I'm pretty pumped for BLOOD AND TRUTH on PSVR
uh oh, another good review, bring out the haters.
Good, I am glad more and more people are able to see how great of an experience this game is, instead of just calling out that it's not the most prettiest of games, or that the melee is a little repetitive. Like any FPS isn't repetitive, aim, shoot, run down the line, aim, shoot, run down the line. At least this game tasks you with trying to come up with different ways to handle the situation.
I am having a blast with it, and I love the lighting and mood that the game creates. It's brutally hard at times too. 30 minutes into the game, just after I started feeling comfortable with myself and started thinking that this game wasn't that challenging, I got swarmed and proceeded to die 4 times over the next 10-15 minutes.
