Amazon has updated their listing for the Arcania: Game of the Year Edition, revealing the box art for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

Wtf? What the hell is this game? Game of the year edition? No word of a lie, I'm on game sites all the time keeping up with the news and this is the very first I've heard of this game. Looking at it now it looks like the critics beat the hell outta this game. Who on earth gave it a "game of the year"?

In the image the logo says "Arcania: The complete tale", I think the GOTY description is just used now to describe these reissues.

cool ive been waiting to get this, now ill just pick this one up. clearly the release date is way off too lol i doubt it will be this time next year

well I always thought it was funny how many games gave themselves GOTY versions, but this is the first time that a game ive never heard of at all got a GOTY edition.

The box art doesn't say GOTY edition. So think its probably lazy reporting.

The box art just says 'The Complete Tale' no mention of any game of the year or awards on it.

I didnt know the ps3 version even released. Looked way too dumbed down from Gothic and Risen. Maybe for a tenner some day.
