Elite: Dangerous – microtransactions a possibility, paid updates planned

David Braben has ruled out using a subscription model for the online component of Frontier’s Kickstarter-funded Elite: Dangerous when it launches, but said that the company are looking at microtransactions and paid-for extra content to support the game’s server costs after launch.
