Dave Payerle writes: Over the last several years Professor Layton has slowly but surely become one of the more recognizable faces of Nintendo’s handheld consoles. The series’ fifth installment, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, is the first adventure of the puzzle solving gentleman on the 3DS and also the first game in the series to make any real changes to the gameplay. With increased the puzzle variety and a huge number of total puzzles, the series continues to be the best choice for puzzle fans.
