GB: BreakQuest: Extra Evolution is a remake of BreakQuest which was released in 2004, and contains a lot of new levels and other innovations. It is also quite a competent game too. The studio that remade the game called Beatshapers have a lot of games in the pipeline for the Vita and PSP, and we talked to the founder Alexey Menshikov, about the challenges they encountered and also about the future.
Game-Modo’s Travis Blair reached out to Beatshapers, a developer behind several PlayStation games found on various platforms, to learn about a company that seems to really enjoy gaming.
With powerful handheld devices like the PS Vita capable of playing intense console quality games on the go, its refreshing to have titles that are simple pick-up and play and overall, BreakQuest is a freemium title that is a nice companion to have on the go.
I kinda like games like this and Treasures of Montezumna, allowing you to jump in and out for a few mins at a time
With a staggering array of levels – each with their own commendable and challenging design – BreakQuest Extra Evolution is brimming with creative ideas. And though they may not have reinvented the primordial formula, Beatshapers' creation establishes an addictive environment where twitch gameplay reigns and reflexes are king.
mmmmm... I see there making a PS4 game. I wonder if that little tit-bit (or tid-bit so not to offend our American friends) will pass people by. Not only does he call it 'PS4' but it suggests the PS4 isn't that far away.
Double post. I hate it when that happens
I like trophies, the new ps3 update allows me to see them on my ps3 profile when achieved on my Vita.
