IGN - Spark Unlimited outs details.
Various job listings for developer Spark Unlimited indicate the anime-inspired Ninja Gaiden spinoff Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will be a third-person combat game on next generation consoles.
KOEI Tecmo Recently filed a trademark application for the poorly reviewed Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.
Wow! I seriously loved the first one. Don't know why it was reviewed poorly, it was fun as hell and the humor was great.
I seriously hope they make a sequel in the same style as the first.
Finally got around to playing this one this year. I understand why it got bashed in the reviews but I still enjoyed it as a whole. The combat combos were solid and the traversal prompts looked sweet.
Twinfinite Writes: Koei Tecmo's Nioh shares a lot in common with both Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls. Could the new title be the future for Team Ninja's flagship series?
Nioh is the Beginning of the Nioh Franchise, the latest amazing Playstation exclusive
Team Ninja creative director discusses the whereabouts of the iconic action franchise, says Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z "wasn't the right move" for the series.
I am a die hard fan but ninja gaiden 3 sucked so make it more like 1 and 2 or not at all.
They should have known better than to make Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. That didn't look or feel like a Ninja Gaiden game at all. They need to make another one like Ninja Gaiden Sigma that came out on PS3. That was good.
or why don't you redeem yourself and make a seriously good ninja gaiden game instead of making fans wait.
Ninja gaiden... loved that game and remember those great moment on the Xbox.. I'm not much of a fan of remasters but I would buy a pro or Scorpio remaster of ninja gaiden day one...
yeah .. !!!!
YAIBA Ninja Gaiden Z will be an interesting comic-style Action & Hack and Slash game!
Day 1 buy!
If Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z safely lands on the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system, day one purchase.
I am waiting for Ninja Gaiden 3 to arrive to the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system as well to complete my collection. This new spin off will complement the collection very well. If the small clip from the video is any indication of gameplay, then I believe that the beauty of the art presented would be too taxing on current generation hardware. Leaving no choice but to be developed on a next generation platform. Most likely a multiplat title.
I do truly hope the art style shown is used in the final product.
Rated E For Everyone
Consoles? Wii U/PS4/XboxNEXT?
